MiniLM game-item search: reproducible evidence The catalog contains original fictional text. All seven queries, including failures and ambiguous cases, are retained. This is not a representative benchmark and contains no user or private game data. Files: - catalog.json: fixed eight-item/seven-query fixture - run-search.mjs: reproduction script (Node.js) - search-results.json: complete rankings, runtime, hashes, limits - embeddings.json: fifteen actual 384-dimensional vectors Reproduce in a new local directory with these files: 1. Install Node.js. The reported run used Node 24.19.0 on Linux x64. 2. npm init -y 3. npm install --save-exact @huggingface/transformers@3.8.1 4. node run-search.mjs On Linux CPU-only machines, optional CUDA binaries are not needed. The ONNX Runtime installer supports ONNXRUNTIME_NODE_INSTALL_CUDA=skip as an environment variable during step 3. No API key or remote inference is used. The first run downloads public pinned model files into model-cache. The ONNX runtime dependency in the recorded run was 1.21.0. The script rejects changes to the fixture; remove that guard only when making a clearly separate experiment. Do not relabel modified inputs or outputs as the published case. This script computes CPU embeddings, not browser speed. Model weights are not redistributed here. Their upstream terms remain separate.
